In the year in which it has completed 5 decades of activity, the Transportadora Ideal do Bairro de Alcântara invested in 32 new vehicles (light commercial and trucks) and 7 semi-trailers, with the aim of renewing and reinforcing its fleet and consequently increasing the offer to its customers.

The operation had an investment of 3 million euros, guaranteeing a clear bet on the improvement of the services provided, on road safety, as well as a greater respect for nature. The environmental impact of the sector leads us to make more conscious decisions in this regard, opting for vehicles that are environmentally friendly and less polluting with Euro 6 technology. This latest technology reduces the emission of pollutants to the atmosphere in 72 % compared to Euro 5. All this effort takes part of our internal Environmental Sustainability policy, defined annually by the Quality Management System.
